Much like hipster bingo
So there's this laaaaaaame metatalk (yarly) thread centered around the blog Stuff White People Like. I'm still scratching my head because I just don't get why people are so upset about the blog and how the fuck they can call it racist with a straight face. It's pretty clearly stated that "white people"=privileged hiptards who majored in comp lit at their small liberal arts college. Those are my people, damn it, and I find that blog hilarious. This afternoon as we stumbled from Isaac's co-op (which nearly always has the aroma of weed wafting about), past the biodiesel place, past the store with vintage clothes, past the signs for a Smiths only 80's music night, and over to the local organic vegan restaurant for brunch (you don't want to see us before we've had our coffee!) where a hipster couple wandered out (NY Times paper in hand) past the two fixed gear bikes parked outside. As we were eating, we ran into two of Isaac's housemates who were off to the farmer's market to score some fresh produce. Like Homer J Simpsons says, it's funny because it's true.
